SERVING THE NEXT GENERATION
SERVING THE NEXT GENERATION
My personal journey has allowed me to experience the various emotional challenges that life can bring. Through many failed years of not living up to my full potential, when I found emotional intelligence, I had to bring it to others, especially the youth! Through intense studying under Dr. Hank Clemons (an emotional well-being therapist and expert), I found it necessary to get certified as a coach and birthed this unique, life-changing opportunity.
Our "why" stems from noting that the youth is often misunderstood and not heard. Such notions can cause the youth to mask critical areas of their lives that need to be refined and healed. As a result, we are well equipped and prepared to uncover such areas and motivate change through a self-discovering journey of emotional intelligence with our participants.
Our vision is to teach the youth skills and competencies needed to cope with opposition to succeed academically, personally, and professionally. Challenges are inevitable. However, how to handle challenges are a capability that most youth lack. The EI Institute aims to bridge the gap between emotional intelligence (EQ) and student academic and personal success. We seek to provide participants with the skill set to perceive, express, and manage emotions intelligently throughout their daily lives.
